Whilst all Blend Scotch Whiskies are made with both the malt and grain whiskies, Teacher’s® Highland Cream is unique. The blend has an exceptionally high malt content. No less than 45%. This gives it a richer more full bodied favour. A complex blend: Teacher’s® uses over 30 different single malt whiskies in its blend. It is our master Blender’s skill that ensures that these malts are balanced and harmonised delivering the same full rich taste that W M Teacher created over 175 years ago.
Teacher’s Highland Cream is a blended Scotch whisky produced in Glasglow, Scotland by Beam Suntory. The Teacher’s Highland Cream brand name was registered in 1884 but the label on the bottles says “”est. 1830″” to reflect an earlier date when the founding family entered the whisky business, before the brand name was created. The exact formula for the brand is a close guarded secret but Teacher’s states that it uses fully smoked peat single malt whisky from The Ardmore distillery as its fingerprint whisky along with 30 other single malts. According to Ardmore Distillery, most of the output from its production are used for the Teacher’s Brand.
