With a solid-built frame of tannin and crisp acid, the wine manages to find balance with an equitable amount of plush texture.
Shinas Estate: A Legacy of Winemaking With Greek roots and over eight generations of winemaking tradition, the Shinas family brought their craft to Australia in the early 1950s. Originally, their wines were made solely for family and friends.
The inspiration for The Verdict Cabernet Sauvignon came during one of Judge Shinas’ trips to the US. Over a late lunch, he enjoyed a Napa Cabernet that sparked the idea for a wine with both intensity and bright, high-toned elegance. The Verdict mirrors the modern “Napa style” with ripe fruit and lush texture, yet stands out as an exceptional value—a rarity in this category.
