Description
Winemaking:
Released in 1970, the Meia Encosta brand is a clear commitment from Borges to the Dão regions. It is a synonym for the unique characteristics of this region for the production of elegant and velvety wines. Part of the wine is aged in stainless steel vats and the remainder in French Oak casks for between 4 to 6 months.

Touriga Nacional,Jaen,Alfrocheiro,Tinta Roriz
Tasting Notes:
Clear, ruby colour. Intense and aromatic, the presence of red fruits combines with hints of spice. Smooth, velvety palate with the clear presence of fruit, in a full-bodied wine with a fresh and persistent aftertaste.
Store and Serve Advices:
Recommended serving at a temperature of 15 to 17ºC
Food Pairing:
Excellent with poultry, meat, smoked sausage, cheeses and some fish.
