Description

Dewar’s 8 Years Old Japanese Smooth Mizunara Cask is a blended Scotch whisky that has been aged for eight years and then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks for up to six months. It is the fourth whisky in Dewar’s cask series line-up and is considered a rare treat within the series. The whisky has elegant, aromatic notes and can be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail.
The whisky is made from Dewar’s 8 year-old double-aged Scotch whisky, which has been aged for eight years and then double aged for extra smoothness. The Mizunara oak casks impart some honeyed woodiness to the whisky, giving it an elegant length.
Dewar’s is a subsidiary of Bacardi and is known as America’s favorite single bottle of Scotch. Its Double Double 32 Year Old won Whisky of the Year in 2020, and is considered “The World’s Most Awarded Blended Scotch Whisky”.
