Over 40 exceptional single malts and grain whiskies, all aged at least 25 years, are expertly blended before resting in specially chosen oak casks. For an additional layer of complexity, the 25-Year-Old undergoes a unique finishing process. The whisky is transferred to freshly emptied Royal Brackla casks, imparting subtle new flavors during a six-month final maturation.
This commitment to quality began in 1846 with John Dewar. He pioneered a double-aging process, where single malts and grain whiskies are blended, then returned to oak casks to “marry” and achieve exceptional smoothness and consistency. This signature method is the heart of Dewar’s unique character.
