Authentic sweet potato shochu made from purple sweet potato “Murasaki Masari”. The anthocyanin abundantly contained in Murasakiyu reacts with the citric acid produced by shochu koji, and the moromi becomes bright red, hence the name “Akagirishima”. It is characterized by its lingering sweetness and noble fragrance.
