To celebrate 125 years of Aberfeldy Distillery, a remarkable journey that began in 1898 with the first distillation of their renowned spirit, a special 25 Year Old Single Malt is offered. This bottling serves as a testament to their pioneering spirit and rich distilling heritage.
The whisky has spent over two decades slumbering peacefully in the distillery warehouse, patiently maturing its character. To further elevate its profile, it receives a final finishing touch in Oloroso sherry casks. This imparts a delightful spiced note and beautifully complements the existing rich and fruity character.
On the nose, the whisky unfolds with a rich and succulent aroma. Imagine Highland honey mingling with wild strawberries and sun-ripened peaches, followed by a deeper development of cocoa powder, creamy caramel, and a spicy flourish of cinnamon.
