The wine is a deep ruby-red colour. The aromas are intense and elegant, with ripe red fruit predominating, including notes of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. There are also subtle toasted notes, thanks to the 24 months spent in French oak barrels, adding great complexity to the aromas, with notes of nuts and sweet spice, including nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon. The palate reects the complexity, and is balanced, with silky tannins, full body, and a very prolonged sensation of avours.
