Andrew Mackenzie’s visionary approach led him to double the maturation period, a bold move that has paid off handsomely. Today, The Dalmore 12-Year-Old whisky continues to shine as an exceptional spirit, just as it did in its early days.

This remarkable whisky begins its journey with nine years of maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. Then, it embarks on its final transformation. Half of the spirit remains in the bourbon barrels, while the other half is transferred to exclusive 30-year-old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. These two halves are later reunited, resulting in the creation of this extraordinary whisky.
