Douglas Laing has decked out Big Peat in festive livery once again in time from Christmas 2018! The Big Peat at Christmas bottling has become a tradition for the independent bottler, and enjoying the cask strength variation of the Islay-whisky-based blended malt has become a tradition amongst whisky fans worldwide. This year, the label features Big Peat dressed as a Santa, trying to shimmy his way down a chimney to bestow gifts – though he’s got a bit stuck… Just like Winnie-the-Pooh…

Tasting Notes:

Nose:?Dense smoke and coastal air, punctuated by hints of pineapple.

Palate:?Ash and earthy oak, with layers of cooking spice and boiled sweeties.

Finish:?Lingering hints of soot and white pepper.
