Benriach The Smoky Ten is a distinctive Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the distillery’s historic tradition of crafting peated whisky in the heart of Speyside, Scotland. Unlike the heavily medicinal peat styles often associated with island whiskies, Benriach’s smoke is elegant and sweet, complementing the distillery’s naturally fruit-forward spirit.
Aged for at least 10 years, this expression is matured in a trio of casks — bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks, and toasted virgin oak. This unique combination creates a beautifully layered whisky where gentle peat smoke intertwines with ripe orchard fruits, caramel sweetness, and warming spice.
Crafted under the guidance of Master Blender Rachel Barrie, The Smoky Ten delivers a perfectly balanced dram that brings together creamy vanilla, toasted oak, tropical fruit and soft campfire smoke.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Sweet campfire smoke with grilled pineapple, vanilla cream, toasted oak and honeyed malt.
