Aroma: Full-bodied, refined. Beautiful herbaceous and apricot notes precede notes of aromatic herbs (sage, vervain). camphoric camphoric Next, spices (black pepper, cinnamon) herald its evolution towards a more liquorice and camphorous register. “Cohesion” is the first word that comes to mind when trying to describe this Aultmore. Ripe fruits (apple, pear) elegantly punctuate its aromatic sequence.
Palate: Balanced, dynamic. Echoes all or part of the aromatic palette as it pleases, adding coconut and more spices (fresh coriander, ginger). The midpalate is sumptuously vanilla-flavoured and herbaceous (moss, green barley). Candied citrus fruit draws out the palate with determination until the finish.
